Founded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1947, Danby began as a
manufacturer of small electrical appliances and compact refrigerators.
In 1981, Danby was relocated to Guelph, Ontario, Canada. In 2002, Danby
celebrated its 55th anniversary of providing efficient products to
their Canadian customers.
In 1992, Danby opened its first US home office in Findlay, Ohio
where they began to target American consumers as well. In 2002, Danby
celebrated their 10th anniversary of providing well-made products to
American consumers. Currently, Danby continues its success within a
wide customer base including a number of locations throughout the
United States and Canada.
